Q: Why the BetterTube (installed from the AppStore) can not download videos?
A: Apple cut off the download functionality from it. Apple does not allow the app to download YouTube videos anymore. I did build a version with download functionality, but it was rejected when submitted to AppStore. Also, there should be no other apps on AppStore can do it.



Q: I have purchased Media Burner before, why I still need to purchase the BetterTube Pro?
A: I do want to provide it for free, but the new way to distribute BetterTube Pro is a lightweight service, it cannot carry too much users otherwise it will be shut down, so it can't be free. If you do need it, please purchase it.



Q: I have purchased Better Tube Pro for a long time, but why I still received no link to download the app?
A: Here are some email addresses that were failed to deliver(rejected by the email server), if there is one that you used before, please send an email to me(zhustar#gmail.com) with your payment info(using that email address) so that I can send the download link to you again.

There are 2 ways to download veoh video using MediaBurner


1. Veoh doesn't provide any rss feed, if you want , you can use Yahoo Pipes(http://pipes.yahoo.com) to create an rss feed from Veoh, then add the feed to Channel list in MediaBurner


2. Click the "Search" tab, you can search videos from Veoh, Youtube and Dailymotion

I can't watch or download videos with the new update it says no media link found whats going on bring back the download button

Being back the download button for some reason it won't let me download it says watch later and when I try to play a video it says no media link found for the next update go back to old version with download button and it would be nice if you can play music while you browse the Internet

It's stopped playing in the background and letting me download videos, this has been happening on and off randomly for me which is a shame because I love this app

the app has stopped allowing me to play in the background and download videos, I can see you have alot of people complaining about this problem but mine happens randomly as I had these features yesterday and a day or two before that but randomly they don't work the next time I use the app :/

Hey bludger, fix the app it's been f@cked for over 6 months, what the f@ck have you been up to??
create another update that actually works or give us our money back.
the funny thing is I used this app for free for over a year then within a couple months of buying it , it shit itself and won't download anything new, and your stupid links on your page don't work.
fix it or be prepared for a court case, I bet you owe thousands of people money.

Note: the channel(feed) url must be an rss/atom link

Please follow these steps:
launch app -> tap left top "+" button -> type the channel feed url in the input bar -> tap "add" button. finished.

OR type an url to go browse web, find and copy the feed link then paste in input bar, tap "add" button

Choose multiple files for Share in iTunes/Delete

It would be great if we could choose multiple downloaded videos and Share in iTunes or for deleting. Presently we have to do this for each file separately.

Another option that would be greatly appreciated is to save the name of the downloaded file as it appears when downloaded. Since some may want to copy the file to another player directly in their iPhone. The downloaded files are renamed within the iPhone when viewed with a phone browser software.

I presently have around 3 to 4 video players apart from the iPod player and would like to transfer the downloaded videos within my phone.

Great App with a few ideas

Zgx, this is a really great app and probably the only one of its kind on the App Store; gladly paid the $1.99 to upgrade to get all the features.


With that said, here's a few suggestions that could make it even better. Some of these are taken from the ProTube app that's only available through Cydia so you may wanna check that one out. Anyway, here's my thoughts:


1. option to show downloads are taking place.


Perhaps a small red number could appear over the "download" button showing the number of downloads in progress. Currently, when pressing "download" on a video, there's no indication anything is happening. The download button should also be animated when pressed.


2. option to choose quality of download (360p or 720p etc.)

3. option to choose mp3 as the audio format

4. slight UI changes: remove the "mediaburner" title bar along the top with the "+" and "refresh" symbols. Perhaps place them at the bottom with the 3 other buttons. Currently the 3 at the bottom seem a bit larger than necessary.
