You can't add videos/songs from iTunes. I wonder why you need this feature?

If you have purchased "Remove Advertisements" before, click the "No Ads" button on "My Videos", then click "Restore Previous Purchases" , after restored, the Ads should be removed.

Sharing videos to iTunes won't delete any video. Are you sure you didn't delete the video?

I have tested that link, it can't be played. If it can before, most likely it was changed by it's manager.

You should make sure you can play the video online in your device browser (safari), then follow the steps I have posted before. If you can't do that(play online in safari), it can't be downloaded.
